Our approach

Clear thinking. Coordinated delivery.

We start by understanding your landscape, the stage of the project and the support your team needs.

From there, we agree a defined scope and develop the irrigation information or supply quotation around the project’s requirements.

Clear responsibilities, considered technical decisions and coordinated communication guide the work from the first brief through to the agreed deliverables.

The process

A clear route from brief to deliverables.

  1. Understand

We review your project brief, landscape information, programme and available water supply information. We discuss what you need to achieve and identify the information required to define the work.

  2. Agree

We set out the proposed scope, deliverables, responsibilities and commercial basis in our proposal or quotation. Assumptions and information still to be confirmed are identified before the work proceeds.

  3. Develop

For design commissions, we develop the irrigation layout, zoning, equipment selection and agreed technical information. For supply enquiries, we coordinate equipment and quantities around the drawings, schedules or requirements provided.

  4. Coordinate and issue

We coordinate relevant questions and interfaces with your team, then issue the agreed design information or supply quotation. The intended purpose, relevant assumptions and outstanding matters are made clear.

Working together

Working with your team.

You lead the landscape design and client relationship. We agree how irrigation questions, design information and technical decisions will be coordinated with your team.

Useful input can come from planting designers, engineers, contractors and those responsible for the water supply. We identify the interfaces relevant to our scope and raise the information needed to progress.

Where the brief, landscape plans or project requirements change, we review the effect on the agreed work and discuss any necessary changes to scope, deliverables or programme.

What you can expect

Clarity at each stage.

  • A defined scope

An agreed description of the support we are providing and the information we will deliver.

  • Visible assumptions

A clear record of the information used, assumptions made and matters requiring confirmation.

  • Coordinated technical input

Irrigation requirements considered alongside the landscape and relevant project interfaces.

  • Clear issued information

Drawings, schedules, specifications or quotations identified for their agreed purpose, with revisions distinguishable as the project develops.

Choosing the right support

Start where your project is.

You may be developing an early landscape concept, progressing a detailed scheme or preparing to procure equipment. We discuss the support appropriate to the stage you have reached.

Irrigation design & consultancy

For projects needing an irrigation strategy, coordinated design information or advice on an existing scheme.

Technical supply

For projects needing individual components or a coordinated equipment quotation based on defined requirements.

Where both services are required, we agree how the design and supply scopes fit together.

Fees & quotations

Design and consultancy fees are based on the project requirements and agreed deliverables. We set out the scope and fee in a proposal before work begins.

Technical supply is quoted against the equipment and quantities required, with relevant assumptions and supply terms clearly identified.

Share your project brief, drawings or equipment schedule so we can discuss the appropriate scope and prepare a quotation.

Tell us where you have reached.

Share a short project brief, the information available and your key dates. We can then discuss the scope and next step.
