Irrigation design & consultancy

Engineered around your landscape.

You create the landscape. We engineer the irrigation.

We develop irrigation systems around your planting, landscape layout and project requirements. Our role is to turn the irrigation brief into coordinated technical information that supports design decisions, pricing and installation planning.

Design scope

From landscape intent to technical detail.

Each commission starts with an agreed scope. Depending on the project stage and requirements, our design information can include the following.

  1. System layouts

Drawings showing irrigation areas, distribution pipework and equipment positions, coordinated with the landscape plans and identified project interfaces.

  2. Irrigation zoning

Zones developed around planting requirements, landscape conditions and the available water supply.

  3. Water requirements

Assessment of system flow and pressure requirements, with available supply information, assumptions and outstanding checks clearly identified.

  4. Equipment schedules

Coordinated equipment selections and quantities to support pricing and procurement.

  5. Technical specifications

Descriptions of the proposed system, equipment and performance requirements, aligned with the agreed design scope.

  6. Project coordination

Technical input alongside landscape architects, designers, engineers and contractors to address irrigation interfaces with the wider scheme.

We confirm the deliverables, design stage and responsibilities in our proposal. The information required and level of detail will depend on the project and the scope you commission.

How a commission progresses

A clear route through the design.

  1. Define

We review your brief, landscape information, project stage and water supply information. We confirm the scope, deliverables and information needed to proceed.

  2. Develop

We prepare the irrigation layout, zoning and equipment selection, identifying assumptions and coordinating the relevant interfaces with your team.

  3. Issue

We issue the agreed drawings, schedules and specifications for the intended project stage. Where required, we can also prepare a coordinated technical supply quotation.

Starting information

What we need to begin.

A short project brief is enough to start the conversation. The following information helps us understand the scheme and define the design scope.

  • Landscape plans showing the areas requiring irrigation.
  • Planting information, including beds, trees, planters and any roof landscapes.
  • Available water supply information, including connection location and any measured flow or pressure data.
  • Relevant constraints, such as proposed pipe routes, plant space and interfaces with other services.
  • Project stage, intended deliverables and key programme dates.

If some information is still being developed, tell us what is available. We can identify what needs to be confirmed and agree how to proceed.

Your specialist irrigation partner

Your project. Your client.

You lead the landscape design and client relationship. We bring specialist irrigation input to support your design intent and help your team resolve the technical requirements.

Our scope and communication are coordinated with your team, so irrigation becomes a clearly defined part of the wider project.

Let’s discuss your landscape.

Tell us about the project, the stage you have reached and where you need irrigation support. We can then discuss the scope and information needed for the next step.
